AND I HAVE TOUCHED THE SKY
He was older now. Wiser. More mature.
He made his way in the world under his own symbol, out from under the Bat's shadow. He was Nightwing, and he was his own man. Which was probably why he'd never expected to see his symbol "up in lights".
In New York. Not Gotham.
And it was Two-Face standing there on the rooftop. Not Gordon.
Twisted deja vu.
And a twisted conversation.
But what else did he expect, if he was trying to deal with Two Face? Harvey? Whatever.
It went about as well as he expected. So there was someone else – never Harvey – at risk. Someone Tw—Harvey wanted him to "rescue". At once. What else was new? Nothing had changed since Judge Romick. Nothing but himself.
Because getting a chance to thump Harvey on the jaw?
Priceless.
